He belongs to the canonical order of the Holy Sepulcher, the only one of the Order that survives in Spain. The monastery was conceived for the retirement of noble ladies and was linked to the Aragonese and Navarrese monarchies. Next to the monastic quarters stands the church of San Nicolás de Bari, which has been part of the monastery since the 14th century. . The current church is from the 17th century.
