Highights

Don Miguel Donlope, city lawyer, was the one who ordered the its construction. This is one of the 200 Renaissance palaces that existed in Zaragoza in the 16th century. The interior stands out with a rich plaster ornamentation in the patio, and the staircase and the coffered ceilings on the noble floor. Elements are combined Mudejar and Renaissance in its decoration. Since 1912 it has been the headquarters of the Real Maestranza de Caballería de Zaragoza whose origin dates back to the 12th century, after the conquest of Zaragoza by Alfonso I the Battler in 1118. Since then the institution ;n has been the protagonist of the most memorable events in our history
