This museum is a meeting experience between culture, history and faith in the city of Zaragoza, from the Roman era, with the importance of the martyrs, to the role of women in defense of the sites of Zaragoza. The twelve rooms of the museum are distributed over three floors. The visit begins with an audiovisual that tells of the arrival. from the Virgen del Pilar to the city. On the top floor are the temporary exhibitions and the so-called “Houses of the Bishop” where saints, bishops, popes and kings of Aragon resided. Each room has its own historical and artistic context. It You can see Romanesque, Gothic, Mudejar and Renaissance rooms as well as like a portrait of Archbishop Company painted by Goya.

This museum located in the oldest part of the ArchbishopL' Palace shows the history of the Archdiocese of Zaragoza since the 1st century AD through its collection of sacred art made up of sculptures and paintings along with other pieces. The different rooms with their own architectural style will not leave us indifferent
