Highights
This neo-Gothic style cathedral is the largest religious construction in San Sebastián. Built on a plot of dried marsh, it was inaugurated. in 1897. Your architect. Manuel Echave was inspired by in the Cologne Cathedral. slate and stone from Monte Igeldo. -On its main façade the work of the sculptor Eduardo Chillida stands out “ the Cross of Peace” and among the numerous decorative elements we can admire the gargoyles, pinnacles and stained glass windows. Its 75-meter-high needle-shaped tower is visible from almost all points of the capital
