Highights

The visit begins with the pick-up of the guide at the agreed time and place, to travel by private vehicle to the point where we will begin this tour, walking with our guide through the Landscape of Light.

We will tour the Paseo de las Ciencias with the Cabinet of Natural History, the  Royal Botanical Garden and the Royal Astronomical Observatory. We will combine nature with a visit to the Retiro, where we will discover its palaces, its gardens and some species of unique trees such as the Cypress of the Pantanos or the famous Ahuehuete, the oldest tree in Retiro, planted 400 years ago.

We will go down through the Jeronimos neighborhood where the Paseo del Prado is located, the first tree-lined promenade in Europe  created since the 15th century as a place of recreation and renovated in the 18th century with the fountains designed by Ventura Rodríguez. This walk, also called Art, through the museums that are located around it, such as the Prado Museum, the Thyssen, the Museum of Decorative Arts, CaixaForum  or the Reina Sofía Museum. 

The tour will end in the Plaza de Cibeles, another iconic place in the capital.

Long description

Enjoy this 3-hour guided tour, in a private vehicle. You will tour the Landscape of Light declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in July 2020. From the Plaza de Carlos V to Cibeles passing through the Retiro we can enjoy this walk that includes science, art and nature.
