Highights

The visit begins with the pick-up of the guide at the agreed time and place, to be transferred in a comfortablevehí ;private ass. We will take a panoramic tour discovering the most prominent areas and the most representative monuments of Madrid until we reach the Reina Sofía National Museum. This museum of20th Century and Contemporary Art mixes two buildings, one old hospital created by Sabatini and a modern part by the architect Nouvel. Inside we will learn about the birth of the artistic avant-garde, exhibitions and magazines.

In this tour we will focus on Picasso, in his cubist period with the museum icon,  Guernica. We will see surrealism with artists like Dalí, Miró, Angeles Santos, Oscar Domínguez or the filmmaker  Luis Buñuel.Tradition mixes with the Avant-garde as is Flamenco where there is a room dedicated to this art.

The sculptures are interspersed with paintings in this journey through the interwar period from 1919 to 1945. We will walk through its gardens where we can contemplate works by Chillida, Miró or Alexander Calder.
