In 1929, it was inaugurated. this architectural jewel within the framework of the Barcelona International Exhibition with the aim of representing the essence of life in the towns of Spain, a mission that it maintains today thanks to the revision constant of its content. In more than 40,000 m2 of open-air space, the Poble houses 117 full-scale architectural constructions, buildings, squares and streets from various areas of Spain. Walking around we will discover a variety of restaurant offers with typical products of Spanish gastronomy, shops where we can buy local products, audiovisual spaces representative of different areas of the peninsula. Also the Fran Daurel Museum, a unique opportunity to admire works by great artists such as Miró, Picasso, Dalí and more. .. and many others under one roof and which continues to the Sculpture Garden, a space where nature and art merge in a 3,000m2 natural environment. In this same space there are two slides installed for family recreation moments. Poble Espanyol is also synonymous with craftsmanship, sustainable, quality, local, and handmade art. Declared in 2003 as an Artisanal Zone by the Generalitat of Catalonia, it is undoubtedly one of the best concentrations of crafts in Barcelona and the country, which offer the possibility of buying or creating a unique, unrepeatable and personalized. In recent years, the Poble has offered, apart from the usual content open 365 days a year, cultural and leisure activities in relation to the seasons: Spring, Summer, Winter and Autumn. /p>
