Highights

One of the greatest attractions of the San Sebastián Aquarium lies in its more than 31 aquariums, distributed on a floor dedicated to the Cantabrian-Atlantic Sea and another aquarium floor with a tropical theme.

Highlights among all of them is the large tank, which we call the Oceanarium, crossed by a 360° tunnel, where you can see a wide variety of Cantabrian and Atlantic species and the two spectacular bull sharks. .

This tank has more than 1,500,000 liters of water and more than 40 species of fish, including 5 species of sharks. During the tour, you will be able to enjoy aquariums where you will be able to see, in addition to fish, wonderful invertebrates and many more species that will provide you with just the right measure of the rich biodiversity that the ocean houses. In all the aquariums you will find information about the degree of threat of the different species because for us it is vital to convey to the visitor the importance of each of the species for environmental balance, but, above all, the importance of respecting and protect the oceans.
