The house is located in the Plaza de los Naranjos next to two other historical buildings: the Town Hall and the Ermita de Santiago.

The House of the Corregidor is a building located in the old town of the city. It is a stately building built in 1552, which stands out for its stone façade emblazoned with a three-arched viewpoint, where Gothic and Renaissance elements are combined. The ceiling is in the Mudejar style and also contains fresco murals.
