Highights
Pick-up from your accommodation in Barcelona in the morning. Meet your private guide and prepare for a comprehensive 5-hour city tour.
Start at Plaza Cataluña, in the center of the city, and head to the street with the most distinctive Catalan architecture , Paseo de Gracia. Listen as your guide tells you the details of the most striking facades of the modernist-style private buildings on the street, among which La Pedrera, by the famous Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí, stands out.
Nearby is the so-called apple of discord, which has more wonderful examples of modernist houses, such as the Casa Batlló. by Gaudí, the Casa Lleó-Morera by Lluís Domènech i Montaner and the Casa Ametller by Josep Puig i Cadafalch.
Next, head to the historic Gràcia neighborhood to visit Park Güell (entrance at own expense) , located on a hill that offers spectacular views of Barcelona. Stroll through the park to better understand Gaudí's brilliant art. After the park, continue towards the Eixample district by private vehicle.
