Highights
In the 14th century the Church was in ruins, but thanks to the generosity and donations of Gonzalo Ruiz de Toledo, the Lord of Orgaz, it began. The Church of Santo Tomé It stands on the site that was occupied by an ancient mosque. Since the 12th century it has been a Christian Church with the dedication of Saint Thomas the Apostle. On the outside of the building, the slender tower of masonry, brick and glazed ceramic stands out, making it a beautiful example of Mudejar architecture.
