Highights
The Royal Atarazanas building occupies a unique example in the world of civil Gothic architecture dedicated to maritime uses at the foot of the Montjuï c. Since 1929, it has brought together an important set of collections that illustrate maritime culture. It is worth highlighting the models of ships, nautical instruments, votive offerings, maritime painting, figureheads and cartography. And it is worth highlighting the full-scale reproduction of the Royal Galley of Juan de Austria in the battle of Lepanto and the historic ship of 1918, the pailebote Santa Eulalia, a three-masted sailboat and 46 meters in length that is ; moored in the port of Barcelona.
