The architect devised an innovative iron structure that allows the use of glass walls that let light pass through, turning the building into a magical music box where all the applied arts are combined: sculpture, mosaic, stained glass and forging. The floral motifs turn the interior of the concert hall into a beauty for the eyes, making the palace appear like a lush greenhouse of flowers and plants.  The most modern part is the Petit Palau auditorium, inaugurated in 2004 with the idea of serving as a stage for chamber concerts.

Currently in its rooms and spaces there are concerts of all genres and styles, as well as as other cultural, social and business events, exhibitions, conferences and congresses.
