Highights
Nowadays, Torre Glòries has become one of the symbols of contemporary Barcelona. It marks the gateway to the city's technological district known as Distrito22@. It occupies the site of the former headquarters of the Agbar Group, hence the headquarters of the Agbar Group. its most popular name. Many did not like the building. because they believed that it broke with the aesthetics of Barcelona, but little by little it has gained fame and is one of the main tourist attractions of the city. The lighting it has at night is the great attraction, it has 45,000 light devices that interact independently through LED technology and give rise to luminous images that appear throughout its façade.

In 2003 the profile of Barcelona changed; with the enormous cylinder that is the Torre Glòries, 145 meters high, a large glass surface where the colors of the Mediterranean are reflected. The architect Jean Nouvel together with the b720 studio took into account the space where it is located, which is why its shape is reminiscent of the Montserrat mountain or the Gaudinian shapes of La Sagrada Familia. He also thought in the use of solar energy and groundwater to reduce energy consumption.
