Highights
The façade of the basilica mixes Renaissance and Baroque elements, the rest of the façade is integrated into the square with the auxiliary rooms of the Brotherhood and the Parish.
The interior is a circular concentric plan preceded by a porticoed atrium with large balconies. The nave is simple and consists of a tall plinth made of red and black marble that alternates with white walls. All of this covered by a half-orange vault.
The altar is made of carved and gilded wood, the work of Guzmán Bejarano, presided over by the image of Jesus of the Great Power.

Long description
The Minor Basilica of Jesus of the Great Power was built to house the image of Jesus of the Great Power, called the “The Lord of Seville”, to whom the people of Seville profess so much devotion. The image is by Juan de Mesa and dates from 1620 and is taken out in procession at dawn on Good Friday.
