On the tour of the monumental City of Toledo, a world heritage site since 1986, we will discover the monuments and historic squares and we will be able to understand why. It is called the City of Three Cultures.

In each of its corners the coexistence of Jews, Muslims and Christians is evident. From the starting point in the Plaza de Zocodover, the nerve center of social life for centuries, the tour begins enjoying the Toledo crafts, damascenes and swords that are exhibited along the commercial street. Walking through the old Alcaná, we remember the figure of the illustrious Don Miguel de Cervantes and how Toledo had an influence on his famous Don Quixote of La Mancha.

From the Town Hall Square, the magnificence of the Primate Cathedral of Spain, nicknamed for centuries the DIVES TOLETANA, for its great architectural wealth, is surprising. It is considered the jewel of the city and the Opus Magnum (Magna Opera) of the Gothic style. The urban layout of the Jewish quarter inspires us to remember Madinat Al-Yahud, the city of the Jews as one of the most populous and richest in the Kingdom of Castile, as well as such as the organization of its spaces, shops, buildings and its monumental synagogues of SANTA MARÍA LA BLANCA and SAMUEL LEVÍ, which last to this day…

An admirer of the beauty of this unique city, Queen ISABEL THE CATHOLIC was so much so that she ordered build a monastery, in the same city, for his burial, the symbolic SAN JUAN DE LOS REYES, although that never happened. Cultural and intellectual focus until the 16th century, Toledo attracted international visitors such as the famous DOMÉNICO THEOTOCOPOULUS, better known as EL GRECO, who remained He fell in love with this city until his death.
