Led by our professional guide, you will begin the journey. with a journey through time in the archaeological remains of Empuries, a very important ancient city in the Mediterranean. These archaeological remains are found in Sant Martí d'Empúries, a small city built next to one of the most important ports of Roman times. Today it is preserved as a medieval city, where we can still see most of the wall and feel its essence walking through its narrow and picturesque streets.
You will go with your private guide from Sant Martí d'Empúries to Estartit, the main port and one of the diving destinations on the Costa Brava, where you will take a boat to go to the Medes Islands. For an hour and a half and thanks to the boat's underwater vision, you will delight in seeing the impressive flora and fauna of the archipelago, which is known for having the best marine reserve in the Western Mediterranean.
The Medes Islands are made up of 7 islands that form an archipelago that is part of the Montgrí Natural Park. These islands offer the perfect combination of landscape and marine diversity, as well as as history, since it is said that they were a transit route for pirates after having found shipwrecks in the surroundings.
