Long description

The Quart Towers were built between the years 1441 and 1460 by the architects Pere Compte and Francesc Baldomar as one of the main entrances to the medieval wall of the city. They are called this way because they were built on the road that took you from the city to the nearby town of Cuart de Poblet through which all the people from the Kingdom of Castile entered. Since 1931 they have been declared National Monument.
