Highights
The Serranos Towers were built with enormous dimensions with The objective of showing the enormous power that the city of Valencia had at the height of the rise of the Kingdom of Aragon. The Serranos Towers were built in Gothic stylebetween the years 1391 and 1398 by the architect Pere Balaguer as the main access to the medieval wall of the city. Its name derives from the northern area where it is located, also known as the Serranía, and together with the Quart Towers they form one of the best preserved civil Gothic style ensembles. Today, we can access the interior of the enclosure and enjoy this historic place.
