This building was declared A Site of Cultural Interest and Historical-Artistic Monument in the year 1969, it has a trapezoidal plan with a large porticoed central courtyard - you can still see the medieval battlements - in imitation of the classic Roman basilicas , a gabled roof and numerous wall paintings and inscriptions that deal with the issue of the wheat trade in the city of Valencia that worried its rulers so much; Issues such as price, weight and quality control were always of vital importance. In addition, we can find representations of the patron saints of the guilds that operated in the grain trade and wonderfulartistic backgrounds by famous artists such as Vicente López, José Ribera, Santiago Rusiñol and the Benlliure brothers. With the name ""Almudín"" it was known during the Muslim rule of the city of Valencia, the l< strong>place to store, distribute and sell grain.
