Highights
The historic building where this important collection is housed has suffered damage on numerous occasions, one of the most catastrophic being After the flood of 1957, the house had to be completely restored so that it could continue to perform its protective function of such valuable local heritage. Since its inauguration in 2006, it has guarded the eleven rocks built between the years 1528 and 2001: San Miguel, the Diablera Rock, the Faith Rock, the Puri Rock. chasm, that of San Vicente Ferrer, that of the Holy Trinity, the Valencia Rock, that of Fame, that of Patriarch San Juan de Ribera, that of the Mare de Déu dels Desamparats and that of the Holy Chalice . The House of the Rocks was built throughout the 15th century with the aim ofhousing the floats - called rocks because of the shape of these cars where the mysteries were celebrated, hence his name - and the other objects that were used during the celebration of the Corpus Christi procession such as banners, flags, costumes, easels, eagles, giants and dwarfs. Currently you can visit its wonderful permanent collection, the projection rooms on the history of Corpus Christi in the city and the library specialized in this topic.
