Highights
Inside the Museum of the Seaman's Holy Week we can see information about the different brotherhoods and brotherhoods and the artistic objects ;sticsthat they have gathered over the years. The collection of costumes of biblical characters stands out - during Holy Week there are live representations of the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ -, traditional clothing, ornaments, banners and baá asses, documentation and a panel with images and audiovisuals that chronologically explain the evolution of this festival over time. The Semana Santa Marinera House-Museum or Salvador Caurín House-Museum - a name dedicated to the institution's mentor - is located located in an old rice mill and it exhibits the artistic heritage related to this religious festival that the city of Valencia has and that is celebrated in the neighborhoods del Grau, Canyamelar and Cabanyal. In addition to the permanent exhibition, it has rooms for temporary exhibitions, conferences, music concerts and cornet and drum band competitions.
