Highights

Following a renovation and renovation project of the building and collections, currently the permanent exhibition It focuses on the history of Valencian bullfighting between the 19th and 21st centuries and is presented around five thematic areas: the evolution of the tradition in Valencia, the fighting bull, the training process of a bullfighter, the liturgy of the bullfight and the history of the bullring. In addition, this exhibition center has a library specialized in the bullfighting world and a projection room where a documentary about the fighting process is played. After visiting the exhibition halls, it is possible to access the bullring - when not in use. celebrating an event in its facilities - and tour the different points of it, passing through the burladeros to the arena.

The Bullfighting Museum of Valencia was created in 1929 thanks to the funds donated by a fan of the world of bullfighting named Luis Moroder Peiró and by a picador named José Bayardthat allowed the first exhibitions to be opened to the public with objects from the late 19th century and early 20th century. The current museum has little to do with this idea since, today, this center has numerous collections and an innovative museographic program where the vision taught. Ethics and technologyare its main tools so that all audiences, both fans and visitors, can immerse themselves in and understand this centuries-old tradition of our country, emphasizing in the most important Valencian matadors.
