Thisthe church was completely transformed in the 18th century, Today it consists of three naves decorated with paintings in the upper part and separated by semicircular arches where the large central transept stands out, formed by a segmental vault that rests on pendentives and which gives way to the presbytery. Inside, the Main Altarpiece stands out, made by the famous sculptor Gómez Sandoval, which comes from the old convent of Santa Clara, confiscated in The year 1868. In this place various carvings are also exhibited, the main one being ""The Virgin of Peace"", patron saint of the parish, in addition to that of Nuestro Padre Jesús de la Pasión, Nuestra Lady of Love and Saint John the Evangelist.

In the 18th century they were added > various areas of the temple such as the side chapels, the sacristy and the altars at the ends of the transept where we can currently see on the left side a carving of Saint Francis of Assisi made by the famous sculptor , Alonso de Mena. This parish is very famous in the city of Córdoba for being the starting point every August 15 of the procession of La Virgen del Tránsito, traditionally known by neighbors and parishioners as ""the Virgin of Here.""
