This church was built following the medieval tradition of Romanesque and Gothic styles combined with Mudejar elements although in the 18th century it was They added various parts of Baroque taste such as the Front of the Compass with some imposing Solomonic columns and the Chapel of the Rosario, considered the best set of marbles by the artist Alonso Gómez de Sandoval. Inside there is a space with three naves covered by Mudejar coffered ceilings topped by three apses, the lateral ones circular and the central one polygonal. In this church you can see one of the most admired Cordoban carvings during Holy Week, Nuestra Señora de las Angustias, made by Juan de Mesa in the year 1627, patron saint of the Brotherhood of Las Angustias.
