Highights
Check in at our office in the center of Madrid fifteen minutes before the departure of your tour. Hop aboard one of our air-conditioned buses and head to Toledo with a local guide.
Relax and enjoy the scenery on the way to the city. Follow your local guide on a walking tour of the historic city of Toledo, a World Heritage City since 1986. Once the capital of Spain, it is a spectacular mix of Arab, Jewish and Christian cultures. Learn about its fantastic heritage and discover how the coexistence of cultures through the centuries influenced the city. in its current architectural style.
Admire the building sponsored by Queen Isabella of Castile to become a royal mausoleum, the most important construction built by the Catholic Monarchs, the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes. Right after we will walk to the Santa Maria la Blanca Synagogue. Originally built as a synagogue, it was expropriated and converted into a synagogue. in a church only 211 years after opening its doors. Today, it is a fantastic Mudejar style museum that you will visit.
Admire the world-famous painting by El Greco, The Burial of the Count of Orgaz, in the Church of Santo Tomé. Did you know that Greco himself lived in this wonderful city?
The guided tour will end in front of the Toledo Cathedral, considered the most important Gothic style in Spain. Afterwards, you'll have a short free time to explore Toledo on your own before returning to Madrid.
