The garden of 1.74 hectares is located in the La Latina neighborhood and  elevated on the Vistillas hill. It owes its name to the views from there. They can be seen from the banks of the Manzanares and the Casa de Campo. In the 1930s they were designed by Javier García Mercadal, author of the Sabatini Gardens. They consist of 3 esplanades with a difference in level of a couple of meters between them. We can find the statue of La Violetera that represents the Argentine star Celia Gámez, a bust dedicated to the painter Ignacio Zuloaga and the monument dedicated to Ramón Gómez de la Serna. In these gardens, famous verbenas are held, such as the Virgen de la Paloma or the San Isidro festival. Within these gardens is including the Conciliar Seminary of Madrid, the convent and basilica of San Francisco el Grande and the Gardens of San Francisco. These elements are located in the Parque de la Cornisa.
