Currently this Museum of San Juan de Dios has twelve rooms to exhibit its permanent collection, galleries where the numerous works and objects related to the saint are displayed, strong> a beautiful Andalusian patio and a chapel. In addition, next to the museum there is a nursing home that provides assistance to more than eighty people, bringing the hospital work of San Juan de Dios to this day.

The San Juan de Dios Museum is dedicated to the figure of thissaint who lived in the 16th centuryand that he died of pneumonia in this same building in the year 1550. At this time this house belonged to the noble family of the Pisa who were the ones who welcomed the saint to try to cure him of the illness he suffered. Currently the property is the headquarters of the museum dedicated to this historical figure, so important to the city of Granada, and in it we can see numerous paintings, pieces of metalwork, furniture, porcelain and all the iconography of San Juan de Dios.
