Highights

      Lighting and Communications Tower of the Madrid City Council, better known as the Moncloa Lighthouse. Built in 1992, the date on which Madrid was nominated European City of Culture. Its primitive function would be to serve as a platform for transmission antennas and a traffic center, a function that did not arrive in the future. to be fulfilled. Through its windows you can see the Almudena Cathedral, the Royal Palace, the Gran Vía, the Cuatro Torres and the Sierra de Guadarrama. In 2005 it closed. and after its restoration it was opened. in 2009.
