The building where the works of Ángel Mateos are exhibited is a concrete sculpture itself. itself. It was built between 1997 and 1999 using 420 cubic meters of concrete. Currently inside we can find thecollection of more than 170 works in concrete, that the sculptor Ángel Mateos made. between the 70s and 90s of the 20th century, divided into three rooms that follow a chronological route passing through its expressionist beginnings and ending with the latest minimalist series. The so-called Ángel Mateos Museum dedicated to the figure of thiscontemporary sculptor from Salamanca, is located in the nearby municipality of Doñ from Salamanca. In 2018, the sculptor's family established A Foundation was created to manage the museum and in 2019 it was inaugurated to show the production of the artist famous for using concrete in all his creations.
