Highights
This innovative museum offers its visitorstwo thematic tours within its permanent exhibition that deal with two aspects of enormous interest, Commerce and radio, called: "The history of Commerce" and "Sounds of yesterday". This permanent exhibition recreates a hospitality establishment from nineteenth-century Salamanca, exactly one of the cafeterias that were located within the Central Food Market for the Regional Exhibition held in 1907. Today a, the museographic program is immersed in an educational and interactive tour that immerses you in the history of industry and commerce from the founding of the city to the present time. . In addition, the center organizes various temporary exhibitions throughout the year, produces numerous publications and an annual photography contest.

The Museum of Commerce and Industry was inaugurated in 2007 with the aim of recovering and disseminating the industrial and commercial past of the city of Salamanca how important it had been in the local economy. The creation of this cultural center was promoted by the Salamanca City Council and the Official Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Salamanca.
