The canvas of the pre-Roman wall that we can see in this interpretation center is located under another later building and from its interior we access to the permanent exhibition full of information panels, touch screens, audiovisuals and replicas of ancient tools. This masonry wall measured about 32 meters long and varied between 3.5 and 7 meters wide and was attached to the medieval Old Fence although its structure was modified over the centuries. In the 19th century, due to the War of Independence and the expansions carried out in the cities, the wall was finished. losing definitively. Nowadays, apart from Salamantica Sedes Antiqua Castrorum, we can find remains of the wall in the courtyard of the Pontifical University and on a site on the RĂșa Mayor. strong>
