Short description

Departing  from Madrid , enjoy this tour in a private vehicle, a day in the Imperial City, a World Heritage Site since 1986, where accompanied by an official guide we will tour its streets, neighborhoods and the most emblematic monuments of this fascinating city. 

We will have breakfast at the Convent of Santa Isabel, founded in the fifteenth century, where we will be given to taste typical sweets of the city, in a unique environment. Then we will visit the Primate Cathedral, along with two other emblematic monuments of the city.

Long description

   The visit begins at the agreed time and place, a private vehicle will transfer you to Toledo  located 70 km from Madrid. Once there, if conditions allow it, we will go up to the Mirador del Valle from where we can contemplate a fantastic panoramic view of the city and the Tagus River. We will enjoy breakfast  in an incomparable setting: a cloistered convent from the fifteenth century. We will enter the old town to discover the history of Toledo and its most relevant monuments. We will visit three more spaces (depending on the day and time of the monument), being the spectacular Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, a unique building of Hispano-Flemish Gothic architecture, the Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca (in the heart of the old Jewish quarter) where beauty and architecture come together , The Church of Santo Tomé with its famous work of "The Burial of the Lord of Orgaz". You will stroll through the Jewish quarter and can enjoy free time for lunch and visit the many damascene shops or buy the delicious and famous marzipan, a popular sweet made with almonds, sugar and water. After lunch, the Catedral Primada, considered the "opera prima" of Spanish Gothic, discover its stained glass windows and the treasures it keeps, such as its wonderful Monstrance. Throughout the free time you will have in the city you will be able to visit the rest of the spaces included in the Tourist Bracelet: Church of the Jesuits, Christ of the Light Mosque, Church of the Savior and  College of Noble Maidens.

At the indicated time, we will return to Madrid.
