The visit begins with the pick-up of the guide at the agreed time and place, in a private vehicle we will go to the Royal Palace or Palacio de Oriente, official residence of the Kings of Spain. We will tour its rooms and learn about the history and anecdotes of the Kings who lived in the palace until 1931. We will walk through the rooms that are currently used, such as the Gala Dining Room and the Throne Room. We will be able to contemplate the best group of string quartet instruments in the world created by Antonio Stradivarius and the impressive collection of clocks of Charles IV. In the Crown Room we can admire the famous Golden Fleece and we will end with a visit to the Royal Armory where the armor of Charles V that Titian painted is located. in his painting Carlos V in the Battle of Mühlberg and that is in the Prado Museum.
After visiting the palace we will go to Toledo. Free time for lunch and right after we will begin the route through the Imperial City. After walking through its streets we will arrive at the Cathedral most important Gothic style in Spain, begun during the 13th century. We will visit the Chapter House, recently restored and works of art such as the Transparente baroque, the Spolio del Greco and the famous Custodia, a unique work of goldsmithing in the world. In addition, this visit includes entry to two more spaces, which may be the spectacular Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, the Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca (in the heart of the old Jewish quarter), or The Church of Santo Tomé (with its famous work of "" The burial of the Lord of Orgaz""), among others.
After the visit we will return to Madrid.
