This museum is one of 4 on the Caesaraugusta museum route
The museum was inaugurated in 1995
The Roman Forum was located under the current Plaza de La Seo and houses archaeological remains from the times of Emperor Augustus and Tiberius
In this museum we can see what was the main meeting place of the Roman city, where social, civil, religious, political and economic life took place. The forum was located near the River Port and that goods arrived and left through it. Inside we can see remains of lead pipes from Roman times through which drinking water was brought. It has two floors. On the first floor there are the archaeological remains of the Caesaraugusta market and forum and on the second floor, through audiovisuals, one can be transported back in time to the Roman market
