This museum was created with the collections from the ecclesiastical Confiscation of Mendizábal in 1836. It opened to the public for the first time in 1848. The collection that began With 121 works of a religious nature, it has been increased through purchases, deposits, donations and excavations. It is distributed in five sections spread over four buildings. Archeology, Fine Arts, Oriental Art, Ethnology and Ceramics stand out. mica
