<p style="text-align: justify;>More than 2,000 m2 of gallery space display almost <strong>a thousand pieces</strong>, including <strong>sarcophagi</strong>, < strong>mummies, jewelry</strong>and <strong>amulets,</strong> to give us a greater understanding of the daily life and predominant customs of the <strong>ancient civilization of the pharaohs</strong> .</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The Egyptian Museum of Barcelona is the oldest and most important museum dedicated to Egypt. A visit to the <strong>Egyptian Museum of Barcelona</strong> allows you to see its permanent exhibition and consult its library, which brings together more than ten thousand documents. The exhibition is articulated around key thematic axes, such as the figure of the pharaoh, the gods, funerary practices or the cult of the body, which transport us from Barcelona's Eixample to ancient Egypt. Highlights include works such as the <strong>statue of Ramses III</strong>, some spectacular mummies and hundreds of objects, such as jewelry, funerary steles, household utensils, portraits, etc. The museum also carries out outstanding <strong>educational work</strong>, aimed at disseminating <strong>Pharaonic culture</strong> among an audience of all ages; For this purpose, it organizes workshops, courses and trips to archaeological sites. In addition, since 2000 it has been the headquarters of the School of Egyptology, the first in the country to teach Egyptology.</p>
