Open its doors in June 1990 where the old Editorial Montaner y Simón was located, restored and equipped by the architects Roser Amadó. and Lluís Domènech Girbau. Built in the early phase of Catalan modernism between 1880 and 1881 This building integrated industrial typology and technology, which combined exposed brick and iron. Due to the donations of Antoni and Teresa Tàpies, the Foundation has one of the most complete collections of Tàpies's artwork, and an excellent opportunity to discover all the periods of his career creative.
