It is a house-museum that preserves the original atmosphere of the home and workshop of the painter Joaquin Sorolla, surrounded by the Andalusian-style garden, designed by the artist, a true oasis in the city.
Commissioned by his widow, Clotilde García del Castillo, who in 1925 dictated she made a will donating all her assets to the Spanish State to found a museum in memory of her husband. The museum contains most of the objects that Sorolla collected. in life, predominating the work of the artist, painting and drawing that allows us to know the family life of the painter, as well as how to see the sketches of the designs he made in your own home.
