The Terradas sisters owned three adjoining apartment blocks on Avenida Diagonal in Barcelona and Josep Puig i Cadafalch unified them. It was built in 1905 with a large Gothic-style façade that looked like a castle. with four towers with conical roofs, which are what give it its name.
