<p style=""text-align: justify;"">Built in the <strong>2nd century AD</strong>, a good part of the structure of the building has withstood the passage of time thanks to the solidity of the <strong>opus caementicium </strong>, a construction technique achieved through stone formwork and a very good quality lime mortar. It is a two-story building, whose rooms would be arranged around a central octagonal room.</p> <p style=""text-align: justify;"">Next to it is the <strong>torre de las Bovedas</strong>, an example of a watchtower that was part of the coastal defensive system established by the Christian monarchs after the conquest of this territory to the Muslims.</p>
