Unfortunately, and despite the restorations it underwent, In the 19th century by Luis López, these paintings are in a terrible state of conservation due to thefirecaused during theCivil War in the year 1936. The current Main Altarpiece belonged to to the church of Betolaza in Álava and is composed of two bodies of polychrome wood with the images of the Immaculate Conception, Saint Peter and Saint Paul.
