The famous Cordoba writer Antonio Gala in 2006 created ; a foundation in the city where he grew up aimed at the promotion of young artists where numerous scholarships are awarded annually to promote Literature and the Arts and which is based in the old Corpus Christi convent. In this building you can also visit the permanent exhibition called ""Memories of Antonio Gala"" /strong> which is located in what was the Chapter House of the convent where, in addition to the works and memories of the writer, you can see some wonderful frescoes made in the 17th century.
The guided tour of about 45 minutes lasts about 45 minutes. It begins with a brief introduction to the history and uses of the religious building to then transport us to the high points of the writer's personal and professional life through s of objects such as the first editions of his works, unpublished manuscripts, personal belongings of the writer such as his characteristic canes, photographs with family and friends, interviews and awards, to obtain an overview of the life and work of one of the greatest Hispanic writers of all time and who considered ; the city of Córdoba as his favorite place to live.
