Located between the districts of Usera and Puente de Vallecas, this park runs along the Manzanares River joining the Madrid River through the Manzanares River. s of a wooden walkway. There are two viewpoints, La Dama del Manzanares, a watchtower from where you can see Madrid and the mountains. Dump heap converted into a viewpoint with views of the Caja Mágica.
The park opened in 2003 to convert a degraded area of the Manzanares River in a large natural space. The spaces and paths were designed by the architect Ricardo Boffil. There is a great variety of trees and birds.
The icon of the park is the Lady of Manzanares, also called Head of Ariadne, 13 m high sculpture dedicated to the River ;o Manzanares. From the Watchtower built on a waste dump you can see Madrid.
The walk of the senses dominates the entire park and water is the protagonist.
It is worth highlighting the auditorium and the mountain viewpoint with views of the Caja Mágica.
