Egyptian temple located in the Parque del Oeste, on the Principe Pio Mountain. Donated by the Egyptian authorities in gratitude to Spain for helping save the temples that were sinking during construction from the Aswan Dam. The best sunsets can be seen from here, as well as the beautiful sunsets. such as the views of the Casa de Campo, and the Almudena Cathedral, the Royal Palace and the Basilica of San Francisco el Grande.
This monument is the oldest in Madrid with 2200 years old. The temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, was a gift from the Egyptian authorities in gratitude to Spain for helping save the temples that were sinking during the construction of the Dam. Aswan - Brought from Egypt stone by stone in 1972. Inside the Temple there is information about Egyptian society, mythology and explanations of the hieroglyphs. All the saved temples are represented in an interesting model. In this place the famous May 3 shootings took place. painted by Goya.
