<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222; background: white;>The city of Salamanca is known for being home to two cathedrals. The so-called "Old Cathedral", officially called <strong>Cathedral of Santa María,</strong> is a religious temple built in a mixture of <strong>Romanesque and Gothic styles between the 12th and 14th centuries< /strong> by order of Bishop Jerome of Perigord. It currently has the declaration of <strong>A Site of Cultural Interest and National Monument</strong> and is one of the most visited places in the city along with the "New Cathedral".</span </p>
