The baroque church of San Sebastián de Salamanca was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest in the year; o 2011 since it formsan architectural complex of great historical and artistic importance composed of a School, Hospedería and Church. Today as it is located in the famous Plaza de Anaya , is one of the busiest places in the city.
full of ornamental motifs. The temple has Latin cross plan and octagonal roof, where the Main Chapel and its altarpiece with the theme of the Martyrdom of Saint Sebastian stand out. On the outside, the main door is arranged sheltering a sculpture of San Sebastián made by José by Larra de Churriguera and the side cover with the image of San Juan de Sahagún, patron saint of the city and founder of San Bartolomé, made by the same artist.
